iControl's Latest Release of its Enterprise Data & Analytics Portal Features New Distribution and Planogram Reporting.

BURTONSVILLE, MD, April 13, 2016 – iControl Data Solutions (iControl), a leading process improvement and business intelligence provider to Retailers, Suppliers and Brokers, announced today the latest development release of it’s enterprise data and analytics portal.

In addition to established core reporting and dashboards, iControl’s Business Intelligence & Analytics Team have introduced a new suite of reports:

New Reports

Distribution Gap Analysis provides a listing of products within hierarchy, authorized at the DC and for the individual vendor, and whether or not the product has sold in each store:

- If the product is not authorized for the store, it will show blank
- If the product scans 1 time during the selected time frame, the report will show "Had Sales" for the product and store
- If there are no scans for the selected time frame, "No Sales" will display
- Exportable in all formats

This analysis helps answer questions such as:

"In what stores is my product selling?"
"What are my areas of opportunity in expanding distribution of a product?"
"In what stores is my product authorized but not scanning?"

Vendor Lookup Report (for Corporate use) provides users with the ability to:

- View vendor numbers, names and categories with sales dollars for the selected time frame
- Determine which vendors are selling products within their categories along with their vendor number to utilize when running other reports
- Search for vendors by vendor number or name, including partial searches

New Capabilities and Features

Upgrade to Tableau 9.2 provides Harmony users with:

- User Experience Updates
- Ability to export all filters selected for a report
- PDF will be generated to print, save or copy into PowerPoint to document selections made for the report

Additional Product Attribute Filters added to drill deeper into the data for all Business Review reports. Many reports will now allow reporting all the way to brand level and include the following hierarchies:

Business Review Dashboard
- Sub Category
- Segment

Sales Driver Reports and Quarterly Shopper Metrics
- Sub Category
- Segment
- Brand
- Product Size Description

Brand Type (Private Label) filter was added to all Business Review reports and includes the following:

- Business Review Dashboard
- Sales Driver Reports
- Quarterly Shopper Metrics
- Promotional Lift % vs Discount %
- Sales Trends
- Price Execution Audit

Filter Functionality was updated for both the Custom Store Hierarchy Reports and the Custom Hierarchy Reports

Performance Improvements were made to existing reports for faster execution including a "Show Report" button to generate reports and smart filters using an "Apply" button that will trigger remaining filters to update available sections. In addition, enhancements have been made to the Multiple Category Report and the Price Execution Audit Report.

Macro Space - Aisle Optimization Reporting provides insights into planogram performance, helping to answer questions such as:

"Which products should I de-list?"
"Which products have more space than needed?"
"How do I optimize assortment by planogram and location?"

Micro Space - Segment Optimization Reporting adds category segmentation as a means to further optimize shelf sets by providing insights into:

"Which segments have more space than needed?"
"Which segments need more space?"
"How do I optimize various segments assortment by planogram and location?"
