Promotions Evaluator Reporting
Promotions Evaluator - Allows users to compare up to five promotions side-by-side
Pulling Sales Forward - Evaluates whether a promotion is pulling sales forward, or building incremental sales
Promotion Category Impact - Determines how a promotion is driving overall category performance
% of Category on Promotion - Calculates what percentage of total category sales that is on promotion
Loyalty Card Data and Reporting
Customer Dashboard shows the number of loyalty card shoppers by week including current fiscal year-to-date as well as the previous two fiscal years
This dashboard helps answer questions such as:
"What percentage of total sales are represented by the loyalty card members?"
"How many members are shopping during the various weeks?"
Key Performance Metrics reporting includes multiple graphs showing sales performance for both Carded and Non-Carded shoppers, including:
- Average Purchase Price and Retail Price
- Average Discount of Item
- Percentage of Sales on Promotion
These metrics help answer questions such as:
"What percentage of promotional sales do loyalty card shoppers account for?"
"Are Carded shoppers buying more products on promotion?"
"What is the average purchase and retail price that loyalty card shoppers pay for the items?"
Customer Demographics shows multiple metrics including Percentage of Sales, Customer Count, and Average Purchase Amount for the following demographics:
- Number of Children
- Size of Household
- Gender of Member
These demographics provide insight into what shopper makes up specific banner loyalty card members for a given product selection.
Discontinued Item Performance shows % change in sales and units for discontinued items by segment and category for loyalty card shoppers, helping to answer questions such as:
"How did the discontinued items impact Sales $ and Units for the category and segments they are in?"
"Were these items potentially an important item to a specific banner loyalty card shopper for the category and segments?"
New Item Performance provides % change in Sales $ and Units by segment and category of new items for loyalty card shoppers, including trends by week since launch. These metrics address the following:
"How did the new items impact the Sales $ and Units for the category and segments they are in?"
"Did these items increase the Sales $ and Units sold in these areas for loyalty card shoppers?"
"Are Sales $ and Units increasing since the items went into distribution?"
Market Basket Performance reporting provides insights into how different demographic segments shop differently.
New Reports and Capabilities
Key updates include:
- Advanced Ad Hoc now includes Spectra store clusters and demographics
- The New and Discontinued Item Dashboard features new item and discontinued item transition performance
- New report metrics include: Sales Velocity metrics, number of Unique Stores Scanning, and Same Store Sales
In addition, the custom product and store hierarchy and groups maintenance have been enhanced to improve user customization.
