iControl's Latest Release of its Enterprise Data & Analytics Portal Features Distribution Gap and Demographic Analyzer

BURTONSVILLE, MD, September 30, 2016 – iControl Data Solutions (iControl), a leading process improvement and business intelligence provider to Retailers, Suppliers and Brokers, announced today the latest development release of it’s enterprise data and analytics portal.

In addition to established core reporting and dashboards, iControl’s Business Intelligence & Analytics Team have introduced a new suite of reports and capabilities:

New Reports

Distribution Gap Sales Opportunity provides users with a holistic view of where specific products are selling and, more importantly, where they are not. In addition, this reporting provides potential sales dollars by product based on incremental distribution by store, helping to answer questions such as:

"Which product line distributions should I prioritize based on sales opportunity?"
"Which store locations should I focus on based on sales opportunity?"

"What will be the sales impact of new distribution in a specific store, region, or chain?"

Demographic Analyzer provides the ability for users to compare sales of a control group of store locations to a test group of store locations across different demographics. This reporting allows users to evaluate the impact of changes in product distribution, pricing and promotions before a broader roll out by providing insights into:

"What was the sales impact of the changes made?"
"Were there any significant variances among key demographics that should be accounted for?"
"How can these behaviors or trends inform strategies for broader roll out?"


New Capabilities and Features

New Report Functionality: 

ID Sales – New option to view ID sales on additional reports

Distribution Gap - Added retailer-specific hierarchy option

Promotions Evaluator - Ability to view sales as a percentage of Category, Sub-category or Segment

Digital ID Reports (Vendor Only) - Reward data has now been added for specific retail banners

Retailer Product Hierarchy  - Ability to request changes to Brand and Product Size to cleanse the different iterations and variations of these attributes

Report Bursting (Business Review Dashboard) - Select 'Burst' to execute individual reports by retail banner

Cascading Product Filters (Retailer Only) - Hierarchy filters will now populate specific to the vendor when vendor number is entered
