On his first day going to school in America, in 1986, TJ Zlotnitsky wore a Michael Jackson jacket and he’s been rocking and rolling ever since. TJ has spent his entire professional career as an entrepreneur, having previously helped run a family-owned wholesale distributorship, Current Companies, which went from a home office to a 33-state operation servicing tens of thousands of accounts before being sold in 2009.
TJ’s whole career has been about finding creative solutions to seemingly intractable problems, and then inspiring individuals to pull together as a team and make big things happen. An eternally curious and energetic guy, TJ’s personal passions include public policy and social justice, reading, sports (especially baseball, which he played semi-professionally for two seasons), and his awesome wife Maria and three nearly-grown, pretty-awesome-themselves kids, Sophia, Elainey and Jacob.
Matt is Founder and Head Coach of G7 Leadership Development and Consulting where he helps organizations drive change and, deliver efficiency. He also serves as a board member, professional public speaker, leadership development coach, and business strategy consultant.
He previously served as a Vice President of Category and Assortment Strategy at Sysco Corporation. Mr. Gutermuth also served as Group Vice President of Non-Perishables, Pricing and Corporate Brands, and as Vice President of Center Store at Winn-Dixie Stores Inc. Before joining Winn-Dixie, he held several executive roles for Safeway, Inc., as the President and Chief Executive Officer of safeway.com. His responsibilities in this position included leadership of many company functions, including marketing, sales, IT, operations, finance, strategic development, supply chain and human resources. Matt’s career also includes stops at Kraft Foods, Nabisco, and PepsiCo.
Matt graduated from the University of Richmond. He also serves as a board member of Saint Joseph's University.
Sean Zlotnitsky came to the U.S. in the early 1990s after serving in the Israeli military as a lieutenant, where he won awards for writing code to recall reserves to duty during a national emergency. He attended the University of Maryland, where he graduated with a 4.0 as a triple-major in computer science, accounting, and economics. During his time in college, and ever since, Sean has been a problem-solver and product innovator, first for the family-owned wholesale distributorship, Current Companies, which he ran with his brother TJ until its sale in 2009, and ever since with iControl.
Sean believes product innovation starts not with a great idea, but with a great problem. He was the primary architect of several of iControl's most successful solutions, including its Scan Based Trading suite, it’s alcohol payment suite, and its award-winning PayApp solution. A husband for over 25-years and a father of four, Sean’s passions outside of work include joking around with his eldest, Daniel, cheering on his son Tommy in hockey, and his daughter Corinne in soccer, where she is a prolific goal-scoring forward, and driving his daughter Brielle to any one of her numerous activities!
The to and fro between East Coast and West Coast that has underpinned Mark's career has a very happy ending. Mark has settled In Maryland as iControl's COO. Beyond the frequent flyer miles, Mark has piled up an impressive string of successes with tech-driven companies. Along the way he's built up an enviable network of people that all seem to love working with him. Helping Mark at every step is his high school sweetheart – now his wife – and a teenage boy and girl. They've patiently moved with him from Tampa to San Francisco, and then to Rockville, MD.
Mark has a Master of Science Degree from Northwestern University. This sits nicely alongside his MBA from the University of Tampa, John H. Sykes School of Business, and his undergrad exploits at the University of South Florida.
Greg Reynolds has worked in the finance world for more than 35 years, so he knows a bit about risk adjusted returns, capital investment planning, cash management and other financial concepts. That is why he likes to play poker when time allows. While he worked in large public companies early in his career, he eventually migrated to the emerging growth company world, where change happens faster and the numbers fit on the screen of his calculator. He has raised capital in both the public and private markets, led M&A transactions domestically and internationally and helped early stage companies plan for and execute growth plans that led to successful outcomes for founders and investors.
Greg and his wife Hope have been married for 33-years and they have 2 wonderful grown children. Today their home has more dogs (3) than people (2) as each time one of their children moved out, Hope insisted on filling the void by rescuing another dog, which Greg has accepted, so long as he gets to keep his side of the bed.
Gilad is all about high tech, and not the high seas – he was unofficially named the worst sailor in Israeli military history! This dubious honor led to a very welcome move to IT, where he became an absolute star, even by Israeli tech standards. After his move to the US, and a B.S. in Computer Science at University of Maryland University College, Gilad was an early and critical addition to the iControl team.
With his decades of experience and knowledge of retail supply chain technology, he became our Chief Technology Officer in 2011. Gilad is a man that loves his movies to be full of action, and his steaks raw. His wife is Tali, and he has three delightfully precocious pre-teen children.
It just seems like yesterday (actually 1999!) that Mindy landed, bag in hand, in Maryland – a very hopeful, newly-minted college graduate from China! In addition to her backpack, Mindy was carrying some really big dreams and a willingness to move her life forward in her new home in the United States.
It didn't take Mindy long to realize that she was meant to be in Maryland. It's been the best kind of whirl on all levels. In business, Mindy met Sean Zlotnitsky, who has become a friend and mentor who helps guide her career. It's allowed Mindy to take on the financial management of enterprises owned and operated by the Zlotnitsky brothers.
On the home front, Mindy has been blessed with her husband David and three amazing kids – Alice, Benson and Cali. It's also given Mindy the opportunity to volunteer at her kids’ schools, another thing that she really loves!
Kelly Fleischer Poling is an adventurer at heart- from jumping out of planes, rappelling off buildings, skeet shooting and always up for a relaxing boat ride. She is an effective partner at the executive leadership level with over 15 years of human resources experience with a passion for finding the perfect hire, and executing human resources strategies. Creative, with a sense of humor and a savviness for working well with others from entry level through the Board of Directors.
Kelly’s non-traditional approach and love for the human resources profession and high standards for executing exceptional customer support is evident when you meet her. She states, ‘The x factor of not knowing exactly what my day will bring, and all of the surprises that come my way, keep my days exciting and creative.’
Jennifer Skinner loves a good cocktail party, so she can “teach” others about the three tiered alcohol beverage industry. The majority of Jennifer’s professional career has been SaaS based developing and building pricing portals for the alcohol beverage industry specifically targeted to the world’s largest retailers. Jennifer spent nearly 17 years at eSkye Solutions prior to iControl’s acquisition of eSkye in 2016. During her time at eSkye and now iControl, Jennifer’s strengths include helping retailers determine business pricing process improvements, identifying gaps and managing software implementations for the alcohol category.
Aside from cocktails and pricing, Jennifer’s passion is her husband, 4 children, yoga, cooking and volunteering at her church food pantry.
Sitting still is not my thing! My idea of a relaxing weekend? A 10 mile run, followed by some mountain biking, and capped off with some impassioned salsa dancing (Israeli-style). If I can squeeze it in I'll also smash away at my drum set, (I warn my neighbors first!).
Other thing I really love? My motorcycle, and life here in the US. And most important of all, my wife, who gave me even more reasons to move to the US when she became a researcher at the National Institutes of Health. It was all meant to be – it then allowed me to meet the iControl family, and the rest is history...
Anthony Cannady is hoping to find time to sit down and relax at some point, but until then, he will continue to go 100 miles an hour to service customers, his community, his family, and God, and definitely not in that order. A lifelong wholesale distribution executive, Anthony spent two decades at Aramark, where he was a regional executive in charge of distribution to over 10,000 retail accounts. He spent time at Hearst corporation, before accepting a position with the Zlotnitsky family distributorship, Current Companies, where he rose to become the company’s CEO. Since being part of the team that founded iControl, Anthony (known to his friends and admirers as AC) has been a leader in client service, working closely and intimately with many of the company’s most vital accounts.
In his personal time, Anthony is a very active member of the community and of his church. He and his wife of nearly 30 years, Alice, are the proud parents of Toni, who is a 2nd year law student at Catholic University.
Dan Rivera understands the pain our customers are trying to solve because for over 25 years, he has been on the front line as a retail executive, trying to solve the same problems.
Before joining iControl, Dan served as the Sr. Director of Supply chain and product flow for CVSHealth. Rivera was recognized with the CVS Breakthrough award for innovative solutions within his first six months at the company. Dan also held several executive roles at Sears Holdings Corp. as VP Omni Channel and Retail Services, VP and Regional VP Store Operations and Director of Process Improvement.
Dan's comprehensive understanding of front line distribution and logistics, operations, supply chain planning and analytics, retail operations, business development, industrial engineering and Omni Channel / e-Commerce / technical support, makes him a perfect advisor to our customers.
Dan is also very proud of his growing family. He resides in New Jersey with his wife Maria and has a blended family of 2 daughters and one stepdaughter, and is a proud grandfather of two boys, Zack and Zane.
